Zekki is a small 30-seat restaurant in the heart of Wiveliscombe, West Somerset. Owned by chef Tim Zekki, the concept is inspired by his childhood memories in the town of Karmi, Northern Cyprus. There, at his father’s restaurant, Kismet, friends and family would gather to share long and happy meals of dishes packed with flavour under the shade of vine leaves. Listed as a ‘hot newcomer’ in this year’s Hardens, described as a ‘gorgeous and charming flavour bomb of a place’ by Telegraph restaurant critic William Sitwell.

The restaurant is now open for Saturday lunch – a perfect time to discover the range of amazing sharing dishes now served at Zekki.
Tim Zekki is known to many of you – he has been part of the Exmoor Food Fest as guest chef at events and of course as chef/owner of Duende in Wiveliscombe. He enjoys pushing the boundaries of food, such as the challenge of inventing an amazing beef-based dessert course for Exmoor Food Fest’s Celebration of Beef.
With the refurbishment of the premises came the change in menu. Now you find an exciting range of sharing dishes which invite you to spend time with friends and just enjoy the food.
