We are a local village pub restaurant also providing bed & breakfast. Our ethos is to provide quality seasonal meals made with locally sourced ingredients, presented to you in a traditional yet friendly pub environment. The pub is situated in the beautiful countryside on the North Devon/Mid Devon border between South Molton & Tiverton.
The current owners of The Mitre are well established after being here for over 20 years and with the support of their dedicated staff team have provided quality food and accommodation to people from near and far. The bar provides a warm setting with an open fire and old-world theme that people of all ages can appreciate. You will find a selection of real ales, ciders and lagers from across the world to as close as down the road. Dog friendly too!
Our restaurant is located separately from the bar and has accommodated buffets, wedding breakfasts & business conventions but most evenings is a quiet place to unwind and enjoy the service we provide.
