This exquisite Victorian manor house has been sympathetically refurbished by renowned interior designer Karen Gray to create a luxurious and contemporary ambiance whilst retaining the building’s character and architectural charm. What Karen has created is a real celebration of Kentisbury’s heritage – a combination of tasteful décor, sumptuous fabrics, antique artworks and handmade artisan furniture.
The landscaped grounds at Kentisbury Grange Hotel reflect the splendour and beauty of the surrounding Devon countryside and the grandeur of the hotel building itself. The sweeping drive opens up to the stunning vistas of the estate, with manicured lawns and picturesque ponds fed by gentle springs. These natural springs originate high on Exmoor before meandering underground, bringing their crystal clear waters to the majestic gardens. This 17th century former coaching house, incorporates a stunning walnut and marble bar with an oak staircase, handmade artisan furniture and stylish décor to create a glamorous yet intimate dining space. From the restaurant you will enjoy views of the chefs at work through the kitchen window, lending an element of gastro-theatre to the proceedings. Everything is created from scratch by our talented kitchen team.
