Are you eating without fear?

Join us for a Conversation about Food with nutritionist and gut health expert Nathalie Sansonetti on 24 June 2024 at 7pm who will be speaking about how we can deal with perceived food intolerances.

Join us for an evening with Gut Health Expert Nathalie Sansonetti on 24 June 2024, 7pm who will talk about “Eating without Fear”. The event will take place on Zoom.

Nathalie Sansonetti has over 15 years’ experience working as a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach, EFT/Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, Food Allergy & Intolerance Therapist and Mentor.  She was nicknamed the ‘gut whisperer’ by a client as she focuses her guidance on gut health.

She works holistically to rebalance her clients’ bodies, minds, spirits, in order for them to transform their fear of food to allowing themselves to eat pretty much anything they want, without their guts reacting.

She has a busy practice with private clients, and is often featured in media such as BBC Radio Sussex, national and international podcasts and retreats as well as company wellbeing programmes.

Nathalie’s motto is “It’s not what you eat, it’s how you eat it, and how you feel when you eat”

Food is never the enemy.

This event is the first in our new series of “Exmoor Food Fest Fringe Events” which run along the traditional, restaurant based Exmoor Food Fest as we all know it.

You will receive the Zoom link for the event after signing up.

ExFF25 Diaries: Food is not the enemy

Yesterday I met with two amazing women – one in person, Michell Tenreiro, and one online, Nathalie Sansonetti.
Watch out for a series of events, some online and some in person, about “Food is not the enemy”!
This is all part of our Exmoor Food Fest celebrations (we’re ten in Feb ’25, but I believe in celebrating birthdays over months!).

Put 24 June, 7pm, into your diary for an interactive online chat with Nathalie about making your gut happy, allowing you to enjoy food even if you suffer from food intolerances.
In October, Nathalie will be running a couple of events at The Porlock Weir Hotel about the same topic. Dates and details to be confirmed!

This is all very exciting! Let me know if you’d like to know more.
Sign-up link for the online event will be available soon.

Stemming from 15 years helping clients restore their gut health, I will be offering knowledge, tools and techniques to help dispel a lot of myths and misunderstandings around food.
With the aim to help people appreciate and fall in love with beautiful food again – instead of fearing it and depriving themselves of one of humankind’s exquisite pleasures..

And so it has begun!

We have an ambitious target for the 2025 Exmoor Food Fest: We want 100 restaurants/ pubs / bistros/ tearooms to join the celebrations for our 10th anniversary.

And this year the sign-ups are starting early. La Petite Bouchée have pipped everyone else to the post – they are our #1 sign-up. So one down, and 99 to go! We wonder who the next one will be…. (we do have an inkling, but can’t say anything yet).

Last week we did an Instagram live together where Anita-Clare Field talked about what will be happening at La Petite Bouchée this year which will see their own 10th anniversary celebrations this summer.

Are you a local(ish) restaurant interesting in joining #Exff25? Then sign up here.

If you want to make sure that you are amongst the first to find out about events and competitions this year, then make sure you follow our blog, sign up for our newsletter and keep checking into our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Exciting plans for the 2025 Exmoor Food Fest

I had a fabulous meeting on Easter Monday morning at The Porlock Weir Hotel with Miguel Tenreiro and Werner Hartholt plotting the “100 days to the 2025 Exmoor Food Fest” celebratory dinner in October, featuring 10 chefs and 10 courses.

A lot is happening this year in the lead up to the 10th anniversary of the Exmoor Food Fest🎉 – including a trip to London to promote the Exmoor Food Fest and our amazing hospitality sector to London foodies.

Keep in the loop by subscribing to the newsletter and follow us on socials!

PS Chefs – look out for an email heading your way this week. You will need to take action by 20 April to be involved in something very special at the beginning of May.

Here’s to an exciting year with loads of events and celebrations!

A message from La Petite Bouchée

We were incredibly sad to have to cancel all our bookings for Exmoor Food Fest this year. We’ve supported the festival for 6 years and loved meeting people keen on supporting the bountiful larder Exmoor has to offer. Sadly due to gravity of our situation at home we were left with no choice. We apologise if we’ve missed emails or had to cancel your booking. I know you will understand that I would not have made this decision had It not been necessary.

After a 3 week stay in hospital and against all the odds Caroline, my wife and co owner of La Petite Bouchée returned home to us. There are no words to describe our joy at having her back, we didn’t dare dream it would happen. So moving forward and whilst Caroline continues to grow stronger each day, I  will be home with her ensuring that everything is in place moving forward and I will return to work on  March 2nd.

We are delighted to announce that we will be serving our Exmoor Food Fest menu on selected dates in March.  9th, 15th 16th, 22, 29, 30

Friday and Saturday nights, reservations only

So if you would like to join us, the prices remain the same as does the menu. If you would like to book please either WhatsAPP or Text on 07738 703450 or email us at hello@lapetiteboucheebrasserie.co.uk

We very much look forward to welcoming you.

**Problem with email deliveries to gmail addresses**

If you have subscribed to our newsletter which is supposed to bring updates straight into your inbox, you might have noticed that recently these emails have landed in your spam box with a warning if you have a gmail account.
There is nothing wrong with our emails, but Gmail has recently enforced new spam rules. We have followed all the instructions, spent a lifetime in the chat with Mailerlite, have authenticated our domain and email address. But now there is a problem within Mailerlite they are frantically trying to solve.

This is very frustrating and irritating for us, but there is nothing for us to do but pester Mailerlite to sort this out with Gmail. Fun, right?

So what’s the interim solution:

  • If you have another email address you can use, please subscribe with that one for our newsletter.
  • Check our updates on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Subscribe to updates from our blog on the website:

Fingers crossed this will all be sorted shortly!
